Summer

Summer is here at last! And with it comes the pastel look that, believe it or not, we can all pull off. Whether you're a platinum blonde with light blue eyes (like me), or have black hair and a bronze complexion, you can wear a touch of pastel. First, go with a natural, lightweight foundation. Step away from those matte foundations and powders and go for the dewy, fresh face. Look around. Companies like Bonne Bell make shine and bronzing products that wash off. Next, try a light nail polish (Cover Girl and Pute Ice make some great shades that are affordable!). Cover Girl also makes some great shimmery blushes that are very pale, but work on any skin tone beautifully. Go easy on the eye makeup... Natural is key. You might want to even get as simple as wearing clear mascara and a little white shimmer eye shadow. Last, finish off the look with a clear or slightly tinted lip gloss. Above all, enjoy the summer!
